Terms of Service

By accessing or using Rovo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Rovo is a lead and response product for home-service contractors operated by Beacon Labs. Depending on the features you enable, Rovo may: connect to your Google account through Google OAuth; use AI to scan and classify emails when you grant Gmail access; identify customer leads; prepare draft replies and send replies that you approve after you activate the live dashboard; send you transactional SMS notifications; and, when you enable optional Voice and customer-texting features, help handle missed calls and send transactional connection or scheduling texts to your customers from a number assigned for your business.

• You must have a valid Google account to use Rovo.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs through it.
• You must have the authority to grant Gmail read access for explicit inbox scans and Gmail read plus send access for the live dashboard account you connect.
• You represent that you have authority to use Rovo for the business you connect, including authority to configure call forwarding, assigned phone numbers, and messaging settings for that business where those features are available.

Rovo uses Gmail access only to provide user-facing Rovo features. When you choose an explicit inbox scan, Rovo requests read-only Gmail access to identify leads and reply status. After you start a trial and activate the live dashboard, Rovo requests Gmail read plus send access so it can monitor new leads, prepare drafts, track replies, and send only the replies you approve.

Rovo does not delete or modify your existing Gmail messages. If you connect Gmail send permission, you authorize Rovo to send replies you approve through the dashboard or supported SMS approval flow. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated drafts before sending when review controls are presented.

You agree to use Rovo only for its intended purpose: finding and managing customer leads for your home-service business, including approved replies and, when enabled, Voice and customer follow-up messaging related to real jobs or calls. You may not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Access the service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without our written permission
• Use Rovo to send spam, unsolicited marketing blasts, or texts to people who did not contact your business or otherwise give you a lawful basis to reach them about a job or service request
• Use purchased, rented, or scraped consumer phone lists for customer SMS through Rovo

Rovo uses artificial intelligence to classify emails, generate summaries, identify likely lead sources, extract phone numbers when present, draft replies, and—when Voice or customer messaging is enabled—summarize calls and draft customer messages. These outputs are approximations and should not be treated as definitive business advice.

• Email classifications may not be 100% accurate.
• AI-generated summaries and drafts may require review or editing.
• Beacon Labs is not responsible for business decisions made based on AI-generated insights.

Your use of Rovo is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We access Gmail read data to provide lead scanning and monitoring. We do not sell Gmail data, use Gmail data for advertising, or use Gmail data to train generalized AI models. If you activate the live dashboard, we may also request Gmail send permission to send replies you approve. If you enable Voice or SMS features, we process call-related and messaging data as described in the Privacy Policy.

SMS is processed by Twilio (or a successor messaging provider). Rovo may send transactional SMS in two programs:

Contractor notifications. If you provide a mobile number and consent to SMS, Rovo may send transactional text messages about customer leads, draft review, reply actions, and related product notices. Message and data rates may apply. SMS delivery is not guaranteed and should not be used for emergencies. You can opt out by replying STOP, reply HELP for help information about the messaging program, or contact support@beaconlabs26.com.

Customer connection and scheduling texts. Customer texts are sent from a number assigned for your business when you enable customer texting (default off). You authorize Rovo to send transactional SMS to your customers or callers on your behalf. Typical messages include a connection text after a missed call when your settings allow it, and later scheduling or coordination texts when the product requires your authorization for that send. These messages must relate to a real job, call, or service request—not bulk marketing. Rovo does not use purchased consumer lists. Recipients may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies with lead and call activity.

By enabling customer texting, you represent that you have a lawful right to contact each recipient about that job or call (for example, they called your business or provided their number while requesting service). You agree not to use Rovo for spam or purchased-list outreach. You are solely responsible for the content of customer texts you authorize and for complying with applicable calling and texting laws and carrier rules for those messages. Rovo acts as a technology provider carrying out your instructions for those sends, subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Carrier filtering and registration requirements may apply to customer SMS; some traffic may be unavailable until required messaging compliance steps are complete.

If you enable Voice features, you are responsible for configuring call forwarding or other carrier settings correctly and for complying with applicable call-recording and disclosure laws in the places you do business. Voice features may use Vapi and Twilio (or similar partners) as described in the Privacy Policy. Rovo may disclose to callers that they are speaking with an AI assistant for your business. Call recording and full transcription are off unless expressly enabled for your configuration; if you enable them, you are responsible for any required consent or notice.

Phone numbers provisioned or assigned through Rovo for Voice or customer SMS remain subject to provider terms and our operational controls. We may suspend messaging or Voice features to prevent abuse, legal risk, or carrier violations.

Paid dashboard features may require an active subscription. Billing is processed by Stripe. Subscription terms, trial availability, and renewal details are shown at checkout or in the billing portal.

Rovo, its design, code, and branding are the property of Beacon Labs. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over the content of your emails or the information derived from them.

Rovo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Beacon Labs is not liable for:

• Missed leads or inaccurate email classifications
• Business decisions made based on audit results or AI-generated content
• Service interruptions, data loss, or errors in processing
• Failed, delayed, or filtered SMS or call delivery; carrier blocking; or compliance holds on messaging
• Your failure to obtain required consent for calls, recordings, or customer texts

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beacon Labs' total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for the service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Rovo at our discretion, with or without notice. You may stop using the service at any time and revoke Gmail access through your Google Account Permissions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of Rovo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
